I took a nice 130 inch 10 pt during Early Archery Season 2009. I thought this was a monster. Little did I know the bragging rights my wife would have over me a short time later.

In early fall, my wife Heather, told me she wanted to go deer hunting with me. She has spent some time with me in the field, but she has never been the hunter. We spent several days at the range leading up to the season. She was very proficient with my T/C muzzleloader.

Opening day of Firearms season, we sat in a 2 person ladder stand. This monster stopped 53 yards from our stand. Heather made a perfect shot on this buck.

I'm not sure she knows yet the quality of deer she has taken.
